St. Genevive Home & Health Services provides companionship as well as personal home care services in the Northwest Louisiana area. A companion assists with housekeeping, laundry, meals preparation, attending to patients health and wellness and all other tasks that the patient may encounter difficulty with.

Long Term Care
Long Term – Personal Care Services program provides help with activities of daily living for persons who qualify for assistance under the program guidelines.
This program does not, by itself or in combination with other OAAS programs, provide supports 24 hours a day.
Elderly Care
The Community Choices Elderly Waiver Program provides services in the home and in the community to elders or adults with disabilities who qualify.

OCDD Waiver Services
OCDD offers community-based services and supports for people who are disabled through the Medicaid Home and Community-based Waiver programs. These waiver programs allow Louisiana citizens to have greater flexibility.
Children’s Choice Waiver
The Children’s Choice Waiver offers supplemental support to children with developmental disabilities who currently live at home with their families or with a foster family.
This waiver package is designed for maximum flexibility.

Sleep
Sleep is as essential as a balanced diet and regular exercise. Getting adequate sleep is important for a person's overall health and well-being.
National Sleep Foundation recommends that adequate sleep for adults should be between 7 and 9 hours per night. However, sleep needs may vary from individual to individual, depending on age. The CDC has a breakdown of How much sleep you need as you age, as follows:
Newborns (0–3 months): 14–17 hours
Infants (4–12 months): 12–16 hours
Toddler (1–2 years): 11–14 hours
Preschool (3–5 years): 10–13 hours
School-age (6–12 years): 9–12 hours
Teen (13–18 years): 8–10 hours
Adult (18–60 years): 7-plus hours
Adult (61–64 years): 7–9 hours
Adult (65+ years): 7–8 hours
Banana
Banana is the #1 consumed food in the United States, even more commonly consumed than oranges and apples combined. Yet, now and then, there is some new exotic fruit that is popularized as the newest health revolution, so we often underrate bananas. However, you should remember that these fruits are extremely beneficial and offer various health benefits.
Despite their delicious taste, bananas are rich in numerous nutrients, natural sugars, vitamins, and fibers. In the beginning, bananas are greenish and have no spots, but as they get riper, brown spots appear and cover the whole fruit. A 2013 review in the journal of Antioxidants & Redox Signaling reveals that cucumbers are a good source of fisetin, which studies have associated with protecting nerve cells, improving memory and decreasing the risk of Alzheimer's in mice. The same review found a relationship between fisetin and cancer prevention.
Broccoli
